In 1974, thanks to the initiative of the General Director of the Second Moscow Watch Factory Slava, Dmitry Alekseevich Paramonov, a rugby team was created. The emergence of "Slava" gave impetus to the development of rugby in our country, and the club itself, whose graduates now play in all the leading Russian teams, subsequently became one of the strongest in the country.
