The latest models are distinguished above all by a very complex case with a diameter of 45 mm. The bezel in the form of a circle with eight protrusions is attached to the capsule not only by eight textured screws, but also by two wide side brackets, one of which also protects the crown. The head itself is screwed, as is the embossed back cover engraved with the inscription DUM SPIRO SPERO ("While I breathe, I live", the motto of the Navy special forces), the serial number of the model XXX / 300 and the emblem of the combat swimmers of the fleet - a shark descending on a parachute.
On the rim of the case back, decorated with a wave-like pattern, the stunning water resistance of the 100 ATM model is also engraved - which corresponds to 1000 (!) Meters. Moreover, each model undergoes a personal tightness test. This, in fact, explains the complexity of the case design. In its architecture, every technologically necessary supporting detail has been played out. Someone may grumble that this is inconvenient, the watch will ruffle the cuffs of the shirt, and a mass of dust and dirt will accumulate on the numerous projections. Of course, they will flutter and gather dust! This is not a black tie dress watch, but a weapon that is not worn with a tuxedo and needs to be looked after and regularly cleaned. But they will always look like new, as the black PVD protective coating is unlikely to ever wear off.
The dials of the new "Fighting Swimmers" are not easy either. They have a trendy 3D design and a textured surface. The wave-like pattern serves not so much as a decoration, but rather helps the matte surface to absorb the glare of light. Separately, I would like to praise the wide overhead indexes of detailed functional markings, the middle of each of which is painted with a luminescent compound.
Also, the rubber bracelet, perfectly and almost imperceptibly integrated into the case, deserves the kindest words: thick and powerful, it provides not only comfort, but will last a long time. These bracelets became popular 20 years ago thanks to diving watches. So, as practice has shown, during the entire period of operation, no complaints have been received about them and everyone still serves the owners.
An automatic watch based on the Japanese movement Miyota 8215 with three central hands and a date calendar was complemented by a chronograph based on the quartz movement Miyota OS20 with a 60-minute counter at 9 o'clock and a 24 hour indicator at 3 o'clock.
