National Association of Watchmakers
The National Watch Association (NWA) is a non-profit corporate organization created to protect the professional interests of organizations and professionals operating in the field of watchmaking, wholesale and retail sales of watch products, watch service and professional training of watchmakers, watch design and watch collecting.
"National Association of Watchmakers" was created in 2013 on the initiative of our company and today unites 14 companies, participants of the watch market of Russia and Belarus. The main goal of creation is to represent and protect common, including professional, interests of the members of the Association - organizations and specialists operating in the field of production, wholesale and retail sales, repair, design and collecting watches. General Director of OOO "Watch Company "Slava" Grankin Pavel Petrovich is the President of the National Association of Watchmakers.
The subject of the Association's activities in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation is the achievement of the statutory goals of the Association, including:
– protection and representation of the interests and rights of the Association members in government bodies of the Russian Federation, local government bodies, courts, Russian and international organizations;
– providing informational, methodological, technical and legal support to the activities of the Association members;
– assistance in the development of industry strategic planning documents, including the concept of watch market development, ensuring a balance of interests of manufacturers, importers, trade, consumers and the state;
– collection, generalization and analysis of information on the state of the watch market in the Russian Federation and abroad;
– organization of scientific and other research on watch market issues, trends and development prospects of the watch market in the Russian Federation;
– ensuring information openness of the activities of its members, dissemination of information on these activities in the manner established by the legislation of the Russian Federation and the internal documents of the Association;
– providing information support, as well as providing economic, legal and organizational assistance to members of the Association, organizing a system of mutual assistance for members of the Association;
– assistance in conducting an examination of watch products;
– assistance in providing legal support to members of the Association in court and government bodies of the Russian Federation, constituent entities of the Russian Federation and local governments;
– assistance in consulting members of the Association on issues of legal and tax regulation in the watch market;
– development and implementation of a system of measures to strengthen consumer confidence and increase demand for watch products of the Association members;
– assistance in the introduction of advanced technologies for the production and circulation of watch products in the Russian Federation;
– assistance in educational activities for the training and retraining of watch industry personnel, assistance in training watch industry specialists;
– assistance in the fight of state authorities against illegal circulation of watch products in the Russian Federation;
– implementation of research, methodological and software developments on watch market issues in the interests of the Association members;
– development of international cooperation in the field of watch market in the interests of creating the most favorable conditions for the development of watch market in the Russian Federation;
– organization of foreign relations in the interests of the Association members, representation of the interests of its members in international industry organizations;
– assistance in nominating for awards, prizes and honorary titles established by government agencies and other organizations;
– assistance in nominating for awards with medals and diplomas for contribution to the development of the watch industry in Russia;
– organizing and holding fairs, exhibitions, expositions, vernissages, salons, conferences, symposiums, seminars, discussions and other events dedicated to the development of the watch market in the Russian Federation, as well as participation in the above events;
– participation in the work of industry mass media and assistance in their development, creation and support of one's own website for public coverage of one's activities.
