Slava Watch "The Journey of the Little Prince"

The pre-order for the new watch “The Journey of the Little Prince”, which the Slava Watch Company is releasing in collaboration with watchmaker Anton Yaitsky, ended unexpectedly for both the company and its partner. Within the first 7 minutes, all 700 numbered pieces were reserved. The industry has never seen such a rush of demand.

700 pieces of the watch are being prepared for release. They are dedicated to the memory of the French writer and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, who died in 1944 in the fight against fascism, and the centenary of the Slava watch brand. It is interesting that the idea for the project came to the participants of the collaboration almost simultaneously.

"One day Pavel Grankin, the head of the Slava watch company, told me: "You know, I always planned to make a watch dedicated to the Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry! In 1994, we even held an all-Russian children's drawing competition dedicated to the Little Prince!", - recalls Anton Yaitsky. - So we sat down and started drawing.

"The Slava brand noticed Anton's talent during the design competition "Watches for the President", - says Pavel Grankin, CEO of the Slava Watch Company. - In addition to talent, Anton Yaitsky has a rare charisma and warmth. That is why it was decided to invite him to the anniversary project "Slava 100".

At that time, Anton Alexandrovich was going through a difficult period: he was working on two projects at once, "The Master and Margarita" and "The King and the Jester".

Anton Yaitsky had already created a watch on the same theme, and the name was almost the same - "The Little Prince". But none of the co-authors wanted to repeat the previous project. For the starting point of the creative work, the author's drawing by de Saint-Exupéry was chosen, where the Little Prince travels through asteroids. The co-authors tried to convey the philosophical meaning of the fairy tale in the language of design.

"The watch "The Journey of the Little Prince" is an emotional trigger, - says Pavel Grankin. - This model will not leave anyone indifferent. Someone will remember their childhood, someone will reread the works of Exupéry, and someone, looking at the "Little Prince" on their wrist, will smile happily, feel joy and the fullness of life."

The recommended retail price of the watch is 150 thousand rubles. The cost of the watch by pre-order is 99 thousand rubles. (including prepayment of 30 thousand rubles). Delivery time: January-March 2025.
