AFALINA – The Scientific and Ecological Center for the Rescue of Dolphins “DELFA” receives part of the proceeds from the sale of each “AFOLINA” watch. Few people think about it, but the Black Sea dolphins – bottlenose dolphins – are on the verge of extinction. Human activity is to blame: dolphins are very often injured and die in fishing nets and seiners, there is less and less fish in the sea, and there is more and more garbage, plastic and pathogens. In addition, bottlenose dolphins are the most frequent inhabitants of various dolphinariums, and in many of them the conditions of detention are simply deplorable. An even sadder fate awaits dolphins that are released into the sea after several years of living in dolphinariums. They do not know how to hunt or behave in the open sea. It was for the rehabilitation of such animals that the “Scientific and Ecological Center for the Rescue of Dolphins “Delfa” was created. The center is engaged in the restoration of the health of dolphins and their preparation for an independent (without human intervention) life in the wild after a long stay in captivity. The Slava watch company undertakes to transfer part of the proceeds from the sale of each Afalina watch to the Delfa Center.
